Lew did his best to find a career other than writing. He’s been a paramedic,  cabinet maker,  computer salesman, and supervised cargo ship operations in the port of New Jersey. In spite of all that, his lifelong passion for books and the desire to create the stories he would want to read hasn’t left him. So, he practiced, and took A LOT of classes--most at Lighthouse Writers Workshop in Denver, Colorado where he finally graduated from The Book Project--and wrote many stories.

When not writing, he spends way too much time doing “research” on YouTube and diving into obscure corners of the internet, and traveling around the western US, searching for the perfect coffee beans and exploring beautiful places with his wonderful wife and not-quite-equally-wonderful dog.
